Jade University of Applied Sciences

Jade University of Applied Sciences is situated within Germany, meaning it comprises three campuses: Wilhelmshaven, Oldenberg and Elsfleth; all located within Lower Saxony. The institution originated in 2009 and is very much focused on providing education through a practical and industry-based educational system to its students. The university is specifically focused on four fields of study: Business, Engineering, Technology and Maritime Studies. An increasing amount of students from around the world apply to attend Jade University on a yearly basis due primarily to its numerous programs taught entirely in the English language, an extremely high international student body and the close connection of Jade to the local industry. As such, there has been an increasing trend of students from Nepal enrolling at Jade University, which has fostered the growth of networks and cultural groups between enrolled students. This will continue to yield benefits for new Nepalese students coming to Germany as they can be afforded an easier adjustment period since numerous new students from Nepal will now have the ability to receive information regarding housing, part-time employment opportunities, as well as information about the university and the academic process through these Nepalese Support Networks and Cultural Groups that exist within both of the campuses (Wilhelmshaven and Oldenberg).
