University of Stuttgart

The University of Stuttgart, located in Stuttgart, is a well-known public university in Germany, especially strong in engineering, technology, and science programs. For international students—including those from Nepal—it is quite welcoming and offers many English- and German-taught courses, but you must meet some key requirements like having a recognized academic qualification, proof of language proficiency (usually IELTS/TOEFL for English or German certificates), and sometimes specific subject requirements for your chosen program. The application is done online and usually free, but as a non-EU student (like Nepalese students), you typically need to pay around €1500 per semester as tuition fees. The university provides strong support through its International Office, helping students with visa processes, accommodation, insurance, and settling into life in Germany, along with buddy programs and orientation sessions to make adaptation easier. Overall, it is a good option for Nepalese students who are serious about technical studies, but you need to prepare well for admission requirements and language skills before applying.
